This solid sterling silver cuff bracelet is a visual interpretation of my poem, North for Geese. The poem follows me as I become willingly lost in a suburban neighborhood at dusk. The textures on the surface of the bracelet reflect the rhythm of footsteps, fences, and sidewalks. The delicate surface texture is at once luminous and luxurious, controlled and chaotic.
The final stanza of the poem regards the moon, which is represented on the piece in an assymmetrically set gray rose cut moonstone. The poem is etched in its entirety on the inside of the bracelet.
