Inspired by carved jet that was popular in Victorian memento mori jewelry, this pendant necklace features a sculpted flightless sparrow rubbed with golden highlights. The bezel is etched with the Latin text, "tempus brevis" or "time is brief." I created this design from a mold of my popular "Tempus Brevis" necklace from my 2020 Charity collection.
