Holding Light

Holding Light

With a brooding mix of monochromatic enameled imagery among golden pools that glow from within translucent shadow, this collection conveys a contrast of hope and despair. It serves as a luminous, dimensional journal of my experience in the first months of sheltering alone during the coronavirus pandemic. The body of work willed itself into existence without my influence. It sprung from unpredictable waves of introspection and helplessness.
