The outside of this artful cuff bracelet features a glimmering pattern of falling starts against a dark background. There is a secret inscription on the inside that reads, "When it is dark enough you can see the sarts." Over the last century, this quote has been credited to many, from Ralph Waldo Emerson to Martin Luther King.
Made of solid sterling silver and hammered into a light and delicate domed shape, I etch and forge my bracelets by hand in my Ohio studio. Starting with silver sheet metal, I cut and sand the silver until it is smooth, etch your inscription, then delicately buff it to a luminous shine - all by hand.
This cuff bracelet is 1/2" wide and somewhat adjustable. It is sized for an average woman's wrist at 6" and suits most.
