This nontraditional photo locket features three enameled studies of my grandmother's high school senior photo. She always said she hated her hair in the picture, and I always told her she was wrong. I grew up on her farm, and elements of this piece are designed to be reminiscent of the gold paper tabs that secured the photos in her albums and horse tack, hardware, and insects from the barn and fields.
