My new collection takes root in layers of mica, in polaroid snapshots of my childhood home as I help prepare to leave it. I will layer polaroid emulsion on translucent and golden iridescent mica with hand-engraved prose-poems in a series of wearable stories in the form of brooches, lockets, and neck pieces.
