The inscription on the distressed bezel reads, “It is later than you think.” Sterling silver, vitreous enamel, 24k gold; hand painted, torch fired, etched, hand fabricated.
This piece is one of a collection journaling my experience of the coronavirus pandemic while sheltering alone. I create these enameled images by “painting” with gold foil, tiny brushes and powdered glass, then heating with a torch to fuse it to metal.
